Put order on

hold

You can put an order on-hold for this, to let your customer know that it’s in progress and to meet your service level.You need to sort out price differences, check delivery-date with your supplier , perform a credit check or any other thing that takes some time.

• Go to the your order detail screen with the actual purchase order details;
  
  
• Enter your Sales Order Number;
  
  
• Enter the reason;
   
• Press Image Added Save changes. 
  
  

Result 

Order status shows Image Added = Line is on hold

Put order line on hold

Instead of putting the whole order on hold, you can also put one order line on-hold and confirm the other order lines.

• Go to the your order detail screen with the actual purchase order details;
  
  
• Select the order line Image Added;
  
  
• Press Image Added on hold line;
  
  
• Enter the reason;
  
  
• Press Image Added Save changes. 

Result

Order status shows Image Added = Order line is on hold
